REDMI Pad 2 Pro 5G launching in India on January 6 with 12.1-inch 120Hz display, Massive 12,000mAh battery

Xiaomi has officially confirmed that it will launch its upcoming tablet, the REDMI Pad 2 Pro 5G in India on January 6, alongside the REDMI Note 15 5G smartphone. The company has revealed that the tablet will pack a massive 12,000mAh (typical) battery, claimed to be the largest ever in a 12.1-inch tablet. The REDMI Pad 2 Pro was previously introduced in Europe in September.

The tablet is expected to feature a 12.1-inch 2.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and DC dimming. Other anticipated highlights include the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 Mobile Platform, a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos, support for the REDMI Smart Pen and Keyboard, 33W fast charging, and 27W wired reverse charging, allowing it to double as a portable power bank for other devices.
The REDMI Pad 2 Pro is likely to be offered in both Wi-Fi and 5G variants. After launch, it will be available for purchase via Amazon.in, Flipkart, Mi.com, Xiaomi retail outlets, and other offline stores.
