REDMI Pad 2 Pro launched Globally with 12.1-inch 2.5K 120Hz display, Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC, 12000mAh battery
Xiaomi launched its newest tablet, the REDMI Pad 2 Pro, along with the Redmi 15T series at its latest event, and the successor to last year’s REDMI Pad Pro. It features a 12.1-inch 2.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and DC dimming, along with triple TÜV Rheinland certifications for Low Blue Light (Hardware Solution), Flicker-Free, and Circadian-Friendly viewing.
The REDMI Pad 2 Pro Matte Glass Edition introduces an AG nano-texture screen, which cuts glare and reflections by up to 97%, while delivering a paper-like surface that’s ideal for reading, sketching, or note-taking. For audio, the device features a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio, and a volume boost of up to 300%.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 Mobile Platform, a significant upgrade over the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 used in its predecessor. Accessories include the REDMI Smart Pen, offering 4096 pressure levels and millisecond-grade ultra-low latency, and the REDMI Pad 2 Pro Keyboard, which comes with 16×16mm keys, 1.3mm key travel, 19mm key pitch, and an integrated stylus loop for convenience.
The device packs a massive 12,000mAh (typical) battery—one of Xiaomi’s largest on a global tablet—supporting 33W fast charging and 27W wired reverse charging, allowing it to double as a portable power bank for other gadgets.
