Samsung Galaxy A17 5G launched Globally with 6.7-inch FHD+ 90Hz Super AMOLED Screen, Exynos 1330 SoC, One UI 7
Samsung has launched its latest mid-range smartphone in the A series, the Galaxy A16 5G in Europe, a successor to last year’s model, after rumors. It retains a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a notch, and continues to use the Exynos 1330 chipset in the European market.
Camera specs remain unchanged, featuring a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 13MP front camera. It runs Android 15 with One UI 7 and is promised 6 years of security updates along with 6 major OS upgrades.
The phone houses a 5000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging, though the charger is not included in the box. Compared to its predecessor, the new A16 5G is slightly slimmer and lighter, with a refreshed camera design being one of the few notable changes.
