Samsung Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A26 launched Globally with up to 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display, Exynos 1580/Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC
Samsung has officially launched its latest smartphones in the A series, the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A26 in India and global markets, staying true to its promise. All three models come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz Super AMOLED display, while the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 offer up to 1200 nits HBM and a peak brightness of 1900 nits.
Performance -
The Galaxy A56 is the first smartphone to feature the Exynos 1580 4nm SoC, while the Galaxy A36 debuts with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC. Both devices incorporate a larger vapour chamber for improved cooling, as confirmed by the company. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A26 is powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset.
Durability -
All three models boast an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. Additionally, the Galaxy A56 comes with a premium metal frame.
Camera -
All three models feature a 50MP primary camera with OIS. The Galaxy A56 and A36 support 10-bit HDR recording on both front and rear cameras. The Galaxy A56 5G is equipped with a 12MP ultra-wide lens, whereas the A36 and A26 feature an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. Additionally, the A56 and A36 have a 5MP macro sensor, while the A26 includes a 2MP macro sensor.
The Galaxy A56 5G introduces the "Best Face" feature, allowing users to capture the perfect group shot by selecting and combining the best expressions or features for up to five people from a motion photo. It also enhances Nightography with a Low Noise Mode for the 12MP selfie camera. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A36 5G and A26 5G include a refined Object Eraser tool.
Software Updates -
The smartphones run Android 15 with One UI 7 out of the box and will receive up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades, along with six years of security updates.
The Galaxy A56 5G Enterprise Edition extends its support further, offering seven years of security and One UI updates, a three-year warranty, and a two-year product lifecycle guarantee. It also includes a one-year Knox Suite – Enterprise Plan license.
Battery & Charging -
All three smartphones house a 5,000mAh battery. The Galaxy A56 and A36 support 45W fast charging with Super Fast Charge 2.0 technology, while the Galaxy A26 is equipped with 25W fast charging.

The Galaxy A56 5G comes in Awesome Light Gray, Awesome Graphite, Awesome Olive, and Awesome Pink colors. The Galaxy A36 5G is offered in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Black, Awesome White, and Awesome Lime colors. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A26 5G is available in Black, White, Mint, and Peach Pink colors.

The global rollout of the phones will begin this March. However, the Galaxy A56 5G will be released later this year in the US.
