Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G launched in India starting at Rs. 12,999 with 6.7-inch 120Hz display, Dimensity 6300 SoC, 6000mAh battery
Samsung has launched its latest 5G smartphone in the F-series, the Galaxy F70e 5G in India, as previously announced. It features a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. For improved outdoor visibility, the panel supports High-Brightness Mode (HBM) with peak brightness of up to 800 nits. Samsung has also reinforced the display with 2-step tempered glass to enhance durability.
On the design front, the device sports a leather-like textured back and a flat side frame. It measures 8.2mm in thickness, weighs 199 grams, and carries an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. The smartphone is available in Spotlight Blue and Limelight Green color options.
Camera -
The Galaxy F70e 5G is equipped with a dual rear camera system, housed in Samsung’s “Iconic Track Camera Deco.”

- Secondary camera - 2MP depth sensor for portrait and bokeh effects

Software and Security -
The Galaxy F70e 5G runs One UI 8.0 based on Android 16. Samsung has committed to long-term support, offering six years of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
For enhanced security, the device includes Samsung Knox Vault, a hardware-level security solution with a dedicated processor and isolated memory to safeguard sensitive data such as passwords, PINs, and biometric information. Additional security features include biometric authentication for UPI payments via Samsung Wallet and an Auto Blocker feature to prevent unauthorized app installations.
Battery and Performance -
The handset packs a 6,000mAh battery, which Samsung says is 20% larger than the previous model, and is designed to deliver all-day performance for streaming and browsing. It supports 25W fast charging, though a charger is not included in the box.
In terms of connectivity, the Galaxy F70e 5G supports 12 5G bands, ensuring broad network compatibility across India.
