Samsung Galaxy M17 5G launching in India on October 10 with AI Features, 50MP Camera

Samsung has announced the launch of its next mid-range M series smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy M17 5G in India on October 10th, following the debut of the Galaxy A17 5G in August. The smartphone will feature a 50MP rear camera with OIS for blur-free photos and stable videos, along with a 5MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 13MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

According to Samsung, the Galaxy M17 5G offers segment-leading durability with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection and an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. The device sports a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display and boasts a slim 7.5mm profile.

Previous leaks suggest the model number SM-M176B, powered by the Exynos 1330 processor. Notably, the Galaxy M17 5G becomes the first in the M1x series to feature native AI capabilities, including Circle to Search with Google and Gemini Live integration.

The phone will be offered in two colours — Moonlight Silver and Sapphire Black — and will be available through Amazon.in, the Samsung India online store, and offline retail outlets following its launch.
