Samsung had already trademarked the name 'Galaxy Ring' in March. To develop key components of the device, the company is partnering with Japan's Meiko, indicating its commitment to bringing this wearable technology to life.
The Galaxy Ring is anticipated to provide enhanced accuracy in measuring body information compared to the well-known Galaxy Watch. However, whether the Galaxy Ring will go into mass production and its exact release date are still pending confirmation.
The smart ring is crafted to be worn like a regular ring and will incorporate a range of sensors to gather body and health-related data. Users will be able to access this information through a smartphone app, enabling them to monitor their health and well-being conveniently.

According to reports, Samsung Electronics has decided to delay the initial production of XR headsets, pushing it from the originally planned year-end schedule to approximately June of the following year. This decision comes as a result of Apple Vision Pro's adoption of superior OLED on Silicon display specifications, prompting Samsung to reevaluate its production timeline.
