Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Camera Specs Surfaced Online Revealing 200MP ISOCELL HP2 sensor

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge camera specs leak.

Samsung introduced the Galaxy S25 Edge at its Galaxy Unpacked event last month. Previously rumoured to be called the "Slim," the device has now been officially named the Galaxy S25 Edge.

    Design and Dimensions -

Leaked details from tipsters Steve H.McFly (@OnLeaks on X, formerly Twitter) and Ice Universe on Weibo provide insights into the phone's design.

The Galaxy S25 Edge measures 158.2 x 75.5 x 5.84 mm, making it one of Samsung’s thinnest smartphones to date—noticeably slimmer than the previously speculated 6.4 mm. To maintain this ultra-thin profile, the device houses a 3,900mAh battery, which is relatively small compared to other flagship models.

Camera: No Dedicated Telephoto Lens -

According to Ice Universe, the S25 Edge will feature a 200MP ISOCELL HP2 sensor, the same primary camera used in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It will also include a 12MP ultrawide sensor, likely identical to those found in the Galaxy S25 and S25+.

However, the phone will not have a dedicated telephoto lens. Instead, Samsung is relying on the 200MP HP2 sensor for digital zoom, a design decision that helps keep the phone slim by eliminating a protruding camera bump.

    Performance and Charging -

The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, similar to the other S25 models. It will come with 12GB of RAM and support 25W charging, mirroring the base Galaxy S25.

    Expected Launch Date -

While Samsung has yet to confirm full specifications and an official release date, the Galaxy S25 Edge is rumoured to launch in May 2025. This positions it as a direct competitor to the anticipated iPhone 17 Air.

More details may emerge during the Mobile World Congress in March 2025 in Barcelona.
