Samsung Galaxy S26 FE launched in India with 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Exynos 2500 SoC
Samsung India has officially launched its latest smartphone in the Galaxy S26 series, the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE in India, after its introduction last month. The latest Fan Edition smartphone combines a refined design with upgraded cameras, a high-refresh-rate display, and Samsung’s latest One UI 9 software with context-aware Galaxy AI features.
The Galaxy S26 FE is the first smartphone in the series to come with One UI 9 out of the box. It brings improved camera processing, enhanced context-aware Galaxy AI capabilities, and extended software support, including seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.
Camera and Video Upgrades
The Galaxy S26 FE comes with an upgraded triple rear camera setup supported by enhanced computational photography features. The camera system includes a dedicated 3x optical telephoto lens, while the front-facing camera has been upgraded to a 12MP sensor designed to provide a wider field of view for group selfies.
For improved low-light photography, Samsung’s Nightography processing helps retain greater detail and clarity in challenging lighting conditions.
For video recording, the smartphone offers:
- My FanCam: An automated subject-tracking feature that keeps a selected person centered while dynamically adjusting the frame during recording.
- Super Steady with Horizontal Lock: A software-based stabilization feature designed to maintain a level horizon during fast-paced activities.
The phone also offers AI-powered editing tools through Photo Assist, allowing users to make changes to lighting and objects using natural language prompts. In addition, Gemini Omni can automatically create compiled videos from content stored in the Gallery.
Galaxy AI and One UI 9 Integration
Running One UI 9, the Galaxy S26 FE introduces several system-level AI features designed to provide more contextual assistance:
- Now Brief: Customizable briefing cards covering information such as weather, wellness, and schedules, which can be generated using natural language prompts.
- Now Nudge: Contextual recommendations expanded to selected third-party notifications.
- Circle to Search with Google: Enables multi-item image searches through a single query interface.
Samsung will provide the Galaxy S26 FE with seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.

The Galaxy S26 FE will be available starting September 18 through Samsung.com, other online retailers, and offline stores across India.
