Samsung has launched its latest rugged tablet, the Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro in the Global Market, alongside the Galaxy XCover7 Pro rugged smartphone. The tablet is MIL-STD-810H6 certified, offering protection against drops, extreme temperatures, and vibrations, and features Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ for added durability.
Like its predecessor, the Tab Active5 Pro and its integrated S Pen are both IP68 rated for dust and water resistance. It sports a 10.1-inch WUXGA LCD display, runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 Mobile Platform, and comes equipped with a massive 10,100mAh removable battery with support for POGO fast charging.
A key new feature is front-facing NFC tagging, which boosts usability in sectors like retail, hospitality, and logistics, where fast and secure interactions are crucial.

Pricing and Availability -
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro starts at €699 (approximately USD 793 / ₹68,120) for the Wi-Fi variant, while the 5G model is priced at €809 (around USD 918 / ₹78,840). The tablet will begin rolling out in Europe from April 28, 2025, with availability in the US starting in early June 2025.
