Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 launched, India Price starting at Rs. 1,74,999 with 8-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display, sleek design, 200MP camera

Samsung has launched its latest-generation foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold7 at the Galaxy Unpacked event in New York, as previously announced. The device features a larger 8-inch Infinity Flex Dynamic AMOLED 2X internal display with a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate—now 11% bigger than its predecessor.

Samsung has also swapped the Under Display Camera (UDC) for a standard 10MP front-facing camera. The outer screen is now a 6.5-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel, also supporting a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, with a taller 21:9 aspect ratio for improved usability.

Under the hood, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset, replacing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 seen in the Z Fold6. For the first time in the Fold series, it features a massive 200MP main sensor along with a 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical and 30x space zoom capabilities.

The device maintains its IP48 rating for dust and water resistance and is equipped with a 4400mAh battery, supporting 25W wired charging, 15W wireless charging (WPC and PMA), and reverse wireless charging.
