According to Samsung, these new models are its thinnest, lightest, and most advanced foldable phones yet, built with durability in mind. They are being positioned as the ultimate “Ultra experience” for users seeking a device that unfolds.

Rumors suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold7 could be as thin as 3.9mm when unfolded, making it the slimmest foldable phone to date, though some reports claim it may measure 4.54mm.

It is expected to maintain a 4400mAh battery but will introduce 45W fast wired charging, a significant upgrade from the 25W charging seen in the Z Fold6. Additionally, the phone is rumored to come with a new S Pen featuring a thicker tip for improved writing and drawing on the folding screen.

The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event for foldables is anticipated to take place in early July 2025, with the exact date expected to be announced soon.
