Snapdragon 8 Elite Set to Power Upcoming Flagships Including Xiaomi 15 Series, iQOO 13, OnePlus 13, HONOR Magic7 Series, realme GT 7 Pro, and More
Qualcomm has officially unveiled its flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform, boasting a 45% improvement in CPU performance, a 40% boost in GPU performance, a 44% increase in overall power efficiency, and a 45% faster NPU.
Several leading OEMs, including ASUS, HONOR, iQOO, OnePlus, OPPO, realme, Samsung, Vivo, Xiaomi, and more, are set to integrate the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip into their devices.
Xiaomi 15 Series -
Xiaomi's upcoming flagship, the Xiaomi 15 series, will be the first to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite, as confirmed by Xiaomi's SVP and President, Adam Zeng. He also mentioned special optimizations made for the Surge system HyperCore, which will reduce power consumption by 29.7% and lower peak temperatures by 3°C during intense gaming sessions. The phones are set to launch at an event in China this month.
OnePlus 13 -
The OnePlus 13, launching on October 31st in China, will also adopt the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform. OnePlus will host an event on October 23rd to provide more information. Henry Duan, Senior Vice President of OPPO, highlighted the company's close collaboration with Qualcomm over the years, particularly in delivering innovative on-device generative AI experiences. He expressed excitement for the launch of the OnePlus 13, calling it a flagship masterpiece as the company enters a new decade.
HONOR Magic7 Series -
HONOR's Magic7 series, which is scheduled to debut on October 30th, will also be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, according to George Zhao, CEO of HONOR. The company has also introduced the industry's first AI Agent for an open ecosystem. This will bring on-device generative AI for portrait photography and gaming, powered by NPU computing, for the first time.
realme GT 7 Pro -
The realme GT 7 Pro, which will launch in November, will be the first smartphone in India to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It will be available on Amazon India and in offline stores, ensuring wide accessibility for customers, according to the company.

iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO 13 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform. Similarly, vivo has announced that its upcoming flagship, likely the X200 Ultra, will also use this chip and is expected to launch later this year.

ASUS has confirmed that the ROG Phone 9, set to debut on November 19th, will also use the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The device promises advanced cooling systems and enhanced AI performance for gaming, leveraging the powerful NPU integrated into the chip.
Nubia and RedMagic -
The upcoming Nubia Z70 Ultra and RedMagic 10 Pro will both be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, with releases expected in November.
