Sony Xperia 10 VII launched Globally with 6.1-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC, IP65/IP68 ratings
Sony has launched its latest mid-range 5G smartphone, the Sony Xperia 10 VII in the Global Market, successor to last year’s Xperia 10 VI. The device features a 6.1-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. It is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC.
The Xperia 10 VII comes with 8GB of RAM, runs on Android 15, and promises up to four major OS upgrades along with six years of security updates. For optics, it sports a 50MP main camera with an Exmor RS sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP front-facing camera.
Despite housing a 5,000mAh battery, the phone weighs just 168 grams. It also introduces a dedicated camera shutter button for quick launches and simultaneous shooting, improved front-facing speakers, and IP65/IP68 certifications for dust and water resistance.
Sony says the device doubles the Bluetooth transmission power compared to its predecessor, ensuring more stable connectivity. Additionally, during AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) connections, it can temporarily optimize sound quality to prioritize a steady connection in crowded or unstable environments, allowing for uninterrupted content viewing anywhere.
