TECNO announced Spark 5 with quad rear cameras and Spark 5 Air with dual rear cameras

TECNO launched its new budget Spark Series smartphones Spark 5 and Spark 5 Air in West Africa, it is a successor of the Spark 4 Air that was launched in India last year.

TECNO Spark 5 -

TECNO Spark 5 has a 6.6-inch HD+ Dot-in flat display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, screen-to-body ratio 90.2%, gradient back, and rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. It runs on an unknown 2GHz Octa-Core processor with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and works on HiOS 6.1 based on Android 10.

Coming to the cameras, it has a quad rear camera setup where a 13 MP primary camera along with 2 MP macro lens, 2MP depth sensor and, an “AI” lens. On the front side has an 8 MP front-facing camera with dual-LED flash.  

The TECNO Spark 5 is powered by a 5000mAh battery with no mention of fast charging and comes in Ice Jadeite, Spark Orange, Vacation Blue, and Misty Grey color options.

TECNO Spark 5 Air has a massive 7-inch HD+ Dot Notch flat display with 88% screen to body ratio, 480 nits brightness, gradient back, and features a physical fingerprint scanner. It runs on an unknown 2GHz Octa-Core processor with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and works on HiOS 6.1 based on Android 10.

It has a dual rear camera setup with dual-LED flash where 13 MP primary camera along with an “AI lens” and on the side has an 8MP front-facing camera with dual-LED flash. It comes with some features like AI Beauty Mode, Portrait Mode, in-build localized AR Stickers, and Wide Selfie Mode. 

The TECNO Spark 5 Air is powered by a 5000mAh battery and comes in Ice Jadeite, Spark Orange, Vacation Blue, and Misty Grey color options.

TECNO Spark 5 Air specifications -

The TECNO Spark 5 will be available at 719 Ghanaian Cedi (US$ 124 / Rs. 9377 approx.) and the price of Spark 5 Air not announced yet.
