vivo T5x 5G launched in India starting at Rs. 18,999 with 6.76-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, Dimensity 7400 Turbo SoC, 7200mAh battery
Vivo has launched its latest smartphone in the T-series, the Vivo T5x 5G in India, succeeding last year’s Vivo T4x 5G, as previously announced. It features a 6.76-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole design housing a 32MP front camera.
The device upgrades to the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo chipset, replacing the Dimensity 7300, and is claimed to achieve an AnTuTu score of around 1 million. It also packs a larger 7200mAh battery, an improvement over the 6500mAh unit in its predecessor. The phone runs Android 16 with Funtouch OS 6 and is promised to receive 2 years of Android updates along with 4 years of security patches.
It retains support for 44W fast charging and now comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for enhanced dust and water resistance. On the camera front, it includes a 50MP primary sensor from Sony paired with a 2MP depth sensor. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification.
