Vivo V50 launched in India Starting at Rs.34,999 with 6.77-inch FHD+ 120Hz curved AMOLED display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, IP68 + IP69 ratings
Vivo has officially launched its latest smartphone in the V series, the V50 smartphone in India, as previously announced. The device features a 6.77-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display with a 41° curved design and an impressive peak brightness of up to 4500 nits. It runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM, and up to 512GB storage.
For photography, the V50 is equipped with a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP front camera with ZEISS optics. Additionally, it includes an India-exclusive Wedding Portrait Studio mode.
The phone runs on Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15 and is promised to receive three major Android updates along with four years of security updates. It also features AI-powered tools such as Circle to Search, live call translation, Transcript Assist, and Erase 2.0. Vivo claims that the V50 is the slimmest smartphone in India with a 6000mAh battery, and it supports 90W fast charging. The Titanium Gray variant is just 7.39mm thick.
The Starry Night edition of the V50 introduces India's first 3D-Star Technology, which gives the back panel a dynamic, interactive design. The phone is also available in Titanium Gray and Rose Red colour options. Additionally, it now boasts both IP68 and IP69 ratings for enhanced dust and water resistance.
