Vivo V50e launched in India starting at Rs.28,999 with 6.77-inch FHD+ quad-curved OLED display, Dimensity 7300 SoC, 50MP front and rear cameras

Vivo has officially launched its latest mid-range smartphone in the V50 series, the Vivo V50e in India, as previously promised. It features a 6.77-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive peak brightness of up to 4500 nits. On the front, it sports a 50MP eye autofocus camera for sharp selfies.

Under the hood, the V50e is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and an additional 8GB of virtual RAM. Running on Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15, the V50e promises three years of Android updates and four years of security patches.

It boasts a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor, a dedicated 2x portrait mode, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and Aura Light for Smart Color Temperature Adjustment. Video capabilities include ultra-stable 4K recording with both OIS and EIS, along with a wedding portrait studio mode introduced earlier in the V50.

With IP68 and IP69 ratings, the phone is built for durability, offering dust and water resistance, underwater photography support, and a Diamond Shield Glass display protected by SGS five-star drop resistance certification. Smart AI features include AI Transcript Assist, Vivo Live Call Translation, and Circle to Search.

The device comes in two elegant finishes: Sapphire Blue, featuring a unique iridescent pattern inspired by blue mother-of-pearl—ensuring each unit is one of a kind—and Pearl White, designed to reflect a liquid shimmer effect that shifts with light. Despite being just 7.3mm thick, the phone is powered by a 5,600mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging.
