Vivo X Fold6 launched with 8.02-inch 120Hz LTPO AMOLED displays, Dimensity 9500 Super SoC, 200MP ZEISS Camera, 7000mAh Battery

Vivo has launched its latest flagship foldable smartphone, the vivo X Fold6 in China, at its recent launch event. The new foldable arrives with a refined design, upgraded imaging hardware, a larger battery, enhanced durability, and a software experience tailored specifically for foldable devices.
Design and Display

The vivo X Fold6 adopts a refreshed design featuring rounded corners and a premium 2.5D metal frame. It is offered in three nature-inspired finishes:
- Blue Hole: Inspired by the iconic Great Blue Hole.
- Salt Lake: Based on the reflective scenery of the Uyuni Salt Flat.
- Polar Night: Designed to capture the calm atmosphere of a polar winter night.
The smartphone features a dual-display setup consisting of:
- Inner Display: 8.02-inch Samsung M14 AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.
- Cover Display: 6.51-inch BOE AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Both displays carry TÜV Rheinland Global Eye Protection 3.0 certification and support hardware-level 1-nit brightness adjustment to improve viewing comfort in low-light conditions.
Performance and Hardware

Powering the vivo X Fold6 is the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super processor. To improve connectivity, vivo has integrated its self-developed 1+4 communication chipset, combining a dedicated global signal amplifier with four specialized chips for enhanced Wi-Fi performance and stronger signal penetration.
The foldable also offers IP5X dust resistance along with IPX8 and IPX9 water resistance ratings. vivo additionally claims the device remains operational in temperatures as low as -20°C.
Battery and Charging
The X Fold6 packs a massive 7,000mAh battery, making it one of the largest batteries in a foldable smartphone. It combines fifth-generation silicon anode technology with vivo's third-generation semi-solid-state battery technology to improve energy density and low-temperature performance.
Charging support includes 80W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging, matching the capabilities of its predecessor.
Camera System

The rear camera setup is powered by the vivo V3+ imaging chip and co-engineered with ZEISS.
