Vivo X200 Ultra launched with 6.82-inch 2K 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, 200MP Telephoto camera
Vivo has officially launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Vivo X200 Ultra in China, as promised. The device features a 6.82-inch 2K curved LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, offering up to 16GB of RAM, and is based on Android 15 with Origin OS 5.
On the camera front, the X200 Ultra is equipped with a 50MP main camera and 50MP ultra-wide camera, both featuring the 1/1.28-inch Sony LYT-818 sensor, alongside a 200MP Samsung HP9 85mm Zeiss APO super telephoto camera. This setup also includes the industry's first super-light prism technology and a large three-group lens periscope with OIS for improved stabilization.
This is the first device to feature dual imaging chips: the VS1 chip handles pre-processing of image data to lighten the load on the SoC, while the V3+ chip focuses on post-processing, enhancing image quality. The camera supports 4K 60fps 10-bit Log, 4K 120fps slow-motion video, and the first-ever 4K time-lapse photography.
The new camera control key introduces features like double-click quick start, sliding zoom, light press to lock focus, full press shutter, long press for continuous shooting, and sliding exposure adjustment.

Vivo also introduced a 2.35x telephoto teleconverter kit developed in collaboration with Zeiss, featuring 200mm focal length, an F2.3 aperture, and 13 high-transmittance glass lenses in a Kepler structure for superior image clarity.
For professional photographers, a separate photographer’s kit is available, including an independent handle with a shutter button and zoom lever, a 2300mAh large battery, and a standard 67mm filter adapter ring. The X200 Ultra also includes an ultrasonic 3D fingerprint sensor and a 6000mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging and 40W wireless flash charging.

Pricing and Availability -
The vivo X200 Ultra comes in Black Ka, Silver Tone, and Red circle colours, and it will be available from April 29th in China, Pre-orders have started now. The X200 Ultra 1TB Photographer’s Kit will be offered in limited quantities. Meanwhile, the vivo Zeiss 2.35x telephoto teleconverter kit and the Professional Imaging Kit are scheduled to be available starting May.
