Vivo X200 Ultra and Vivo X200s to be launched on April 21 alongside Vivo Pad 5 Pro, Pad SE, and Watch 5
Vivo has officially announced the launch event for its upcoming devices — the vivo X200 Ultra, X200s, vivo Pad 5 Pro, Pad SE, and vivo Watch 5 scheduled for April 21st in China, following a series of teasers.
Vivo X200 Ultra -
Vivo has unveiled a new silver variant of the X200 Ultra with unique patterns, joining the previously teased red color option. The company has confirmed that the phone will retain the 200MP Samsung HP9 sensor for its 85mm periscope telephoto lens, now featuring a larger aperture and 38% enhanced light intake.
It will incorporate specialized lens and prism technology, along with a new coating that promises improved night photography, autofocus, stabilization, telephoto resolution, and macro clarity.
The device will also boast a 14mm ultra-wide camera—touted as the industry's best—alongside a 35mm main sensor utilizing the same 50MP LYT-818 1/1.28″ sensor found in the X200 Pro. The front camera is expected to receive an upgrade to 50MP from the 32MP sensor used in the previous model.
vivo’s mobile product manager, Han Boxiao, recently shared portrait samples shot on the X200 Ultra using Zeiss full-focal-length lenses. He highlighted the use of four classic portrait focal lengths: 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, and 135mm. Among these, the 35mm and 85mm utilize flagship-grade sensors with notable improvements in background blur and hairline detailing.
According to leaks, the X200 Ultra will feature a 6.82″ 2K 120Hz micro-curved display, Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, and a 6000mAh battery with 90W wired and 30W wireless charging. The top-tier model is also rumored to support Beidou-3 satellite messaging.
Vivo X200s -
The vivo X200s will be available in new lavender, mint blue colorways, and classic black and white. It is expected to sport a 6.67″ 1.5K BOE Q10 AMOLED display with ultra-slim bezels on three sides. Vivo has confirmed it will be one of the first smartphones powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset.
Camera specs include a 50MP IMX921 primary sensor, a 50MP JN1 ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP LTY-600 3X periscope telephoto lens with ZEISS optics. The device will likely feature an enhanced ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and a 6000mAh+ battery with support for 90W wired and wireless charging.
Vivo Pad 5 Pro, Pad SE, and Watch 5 -
The Vivo Pad 5 Pro is expected to come with a 13-inch 3.1K 144Hz LCD Screen, Dimensity 9400+ processor, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, an 8-speaker setup, and a massive 12000mAh battery supporting 66W fast charging. Meanwhile, the vivo Pad SE will feature a 12.25-inch LCD screen, with an optional Soft Light Edition utilizing AG nano texture technology.
The upcoming vivo Watch 5 will run on Blue OS and be available in Starry Black and Moonlight White color variants. Strap options include stainless steel, leather, and silicone bands. More details about the devices are expected to surface ahead of the official launch in the coming weeks.
