Vivo Y500 Pro launched with 6.67-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display, 200MP camera, 7000mAh battery
Vivo has launched its latest smartphone in the Y series, the Y500 Pro in China, a successor to last year’s Y300 Pro. It features a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering up to 1600 nits of global peak brightness and 800 nits of manual peak brightness.
Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC, replacing the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 from its predecessor. The device comes with up to 12GB of RAM and boasts a 200MP Samsung HP5 main camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor, along with a 32MP front camera for selfies.
The vivo Y500 Pro is rated IP68 and IP69 for dust and water resistance. The company claims it can maintain IP68 protection even after 2000 minor drops and has passed national reliability certification. One of its standout features is the massive 7000mAh “Blue Ocean” battery, which supports 90W flash charging.
