Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro launched Globally with 6.67-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 8300-Ultra/9300+ SoC, IP68 ratings
Xiaomi has launched its latest high-end smartphones in the 14T series, the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro in the Global Market at an event in Berlin, as previously promised. Both phones feature a 6.67″ 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, up to 4000 nits of peak brightness, 3840Hz PWM dimming, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos, with dual built-in speakers.
Camera -
The Xiaomi 14T Series is equipped with a triple-camera setup using VARIO-SUMMILUX lenses co-developed with Leica. This includes a 50MP wide-angle Light Fusion 900 / IMX906 sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with a 50mm equivalent focal length, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera.
Powered by Xiaomi AISP and its AI LM computational photography platform, which utilizes FusionLM technology, the cameras offer an improved dynamic range, reduced noise, and vibrant colors even in low-light conditions. The series supports the UltraHDR format, enhancing the HDR experience, and the AISP platform's PortraitLM feature enhances Master Portrait mode for detailed, layered portrait photos with a natural bokeh effect across a focal range of 23mm to 75mm.
Movie mode defaults to a 2.39:1 aspect ratio and includes Cinematic Blur and Rack Focus switching for a cinematic effect. Director mode offers a professional cinematography interface with advanced controls, while MasterCinema records HDR videos in 10-bit Rec. 2020 format with 4K recording at 30fps, capturing more detail in light and shadow.
Performance -
The Xiaomi 14T Pro runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset, while the Xiaomi 14T is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra SoC. The Pro model features LHP loop pump cooling technology and a dedicated 3D cooling area for better heat dissipation. Additionally, the Xiaomi 14T Series introduces Circle to Search with Google and offers AI-powered tools such as AI Interpreter, AI Notes, AI Recorder, AI Image Editing, AI Eraser Pro, and AI Portrait.
Extra Features -
Xiaomi 14T Series users receive 100GB of Google One cloud storage for 6 months and 3 months of YouTube Premium with ad-free access to YouTube and YouTube Music. In select markets, users can also enjoy 4 months of ad-free music streaming with Spotify Premium.
Battery and Charging -
The Xiaomi 14T Pro supports 120W HyperCharge, allowing the phone's 5000mAh battery to fully charge in just 19 minutes. It also supports 50W wireless charging, completing a full charge in 45 minutes. The Xiaomi 14T, on the other hand, supports 67W fast charging, which fully charges the device in 45 minutes.
