Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro to launch globally on May 28; expected up to 6.83-inch OLED display, Dimensity 8500-Ultra/9500 SoC

Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the Xiaomi 17T series will launch on May 28 for the Global Market, putting an end to months of speculation. The company teased the upcoming Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro as “the biggest T Series upgrade yet.”
Ahead of the announcement, several leaks have already revealed the design, specifications, and pricing details of both devices. The Xiaomi 17T is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset, while the 17T Pro could feature the flagship Dimensity 9500 SoC.

Display-wise, the 17T Pro is rumored to sport a larger 6.83-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the standard 17T is expected to feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

For cameras, both models are tipped to include 50MP primary sensors. The Xiaomi 17T may use the Light Fusion 800 sensor, whereas the 17T Pro is expected to feature the more advanced Light Fusion 950 sensor. Both phones are also rumored to share a 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and a 12MP ultra-wide lens.
In terms of battery, the Xiaomi 17T is said to pack a 6,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. The Pro variant could arrive with a larger 7,000mAh battery, along with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging capabilities.

As for pricing, the Xiaomi 17T with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is rumored to start at €749 (around $878) in Europe. The Xiaomi 17T Pro with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage could reportedly start at €999 (around $1,170).
