Xiaomi CIVI 5 Pro launched with 6.55-inch 1.5K 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, 50MP front camera
Xiaomi has launched its latest smartphone in the Civi series, the Civi 4 Pro in China during an event, as previously announced. The phone features a 6.55-inch 1.5K micro-curved display with ultra-slim 1.6mm bezels, 120Hz refresh rate, and an impressive peak brightness of 3200 nits.
On the front, it sports a 50MP camera using Samsung’s first JNP sensor, which incorporates an ultra-transparent nano-prism design. It maintains the same pixel size but boasts a 25% increase in light sensitivity. The rear camera setup includes a 50MP 1/1.31" main sensor with 1.2μm pixels and an f/1.6 aperture, Leica Summilux optics, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP 60mm telephoto camera capable of 10cm macro photography.
Under the hood, the Civi 4 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, with configurations offering up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It utilizes a three-dimensional ring-shaped cooling system that protrudes 0.4mm around the SoC for more efficient heat dissipation, aided by a ring cooling pump and high-conductivity graphite to maintain top-tier performance.
The device is equipped with a high-capacity 6000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which features 10% ultra-high silicon content, allowing it to reach an energy density of 854Wh/L. It supports 67W fast charging.
A standout variant, the "Iced Americano" special edition, features an eco-friendly back panel made from natural coffee grounds. It’s paired with unique lychee-grain leather that not only offers a refined texture but also emits a subtle coffee aroma. The coffee-colored rear and light gold metal frame lend the phone an elegant and premium aesthetic.
