Xiaomi Mi Max is launching in India on June 30
Xiaomi is all set to launch the ginormous Mi Max in India on June 30th. Just to remind you, the Mi Max comes with a 6.44-inch 1080p IPS display running on Android Marshmallow with MIUI 8.
Apart from that the specs on the Xiaomi Mi Max are similar to the Redmi Note 3. You have the same Snapdragon 650 hexa-core processor powering the device but Xiaomi may choose to bring the Xnapdragon 652 octa-core variant as well. The Mi Max too has a unibody metal construction which is just 7.9mm thick but still manages to hide a 4850 mAh battery which is non-removable.
Similar to RN3, you have a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, 5MP front-camera. At the back you have a fingerprint sensor under the camera module and an infra-red blaster up top.
Xiaomi has a packed a dual-SIM hybrid slot on the Mi Max, so you can use the 2nd SIM slot to expand storage. Connectivity options include 4G LTE with VoLTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and FM Radio. There are a couple of storage and memory options as well, you can check their pricing in China from below, at present there is no word on Indian pricing.
