Xiaomi OpenWear Stereo Pro launched with Custom 18×13mm super large dynamic driver, IP54 rating

Xiaomi has launched its first open-ear headset, the Xiaomi Open Earphones Pro, as previously teased. These open-fit earbuds feature a bionic human auricle-inspired design with three-point support, providing a secure and comfortable fit without putting pressure on the ears. The 45mm adjustable length further ensures a snug fit for various ear shapes, according to the company.

Xiaomi claims this is the first headset in the industry to use a five-driver system, which includes a custom 18×13mm loudspeaker for enhanced low-frequency performance, along with a dual-driver unit and piezoelectric ceramic unit to deliver high-resolution audio in the higher frequency range.

For sound tuning, Xiaomi has collaborated with Harman’s Golden Ear team, resulting in two exclusive “Master Harman” sound modes. The earbuds support LHDC 5.0 ultra-HD transmission and have Hi-Res Audio Wireless gold certification, enabling audio playback at up to 96kHz high-definition quality.

In terms of features, the earbuds offer up to 45 hours of playback and include built-in audio recording along with AI-powered translation and transcription capabilities. These can be accessed through the Xiaomi Earbuds app for an enhanced user experience.
