Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update arrives in style with 200 new emojis
Google has just started rolling out Android 6.0.1 update for nexus devices which comes with not one, not two but 200 new emojis.
Apart from the new emojis, there's an update to the table layout as well as the Do Not Disturb mode and navigation buttons on tablets. Google Keyboard has also been updated to add the emoji support. Now just adding a bunch of emojis took an entire OS update as fonts are still tied to the OS even though the Google Keyboard can be updated through the Play Store.
But that's not all, Google has also brought back until next alarm option in the Do Not Disturb Mode, meaning you can choose priority or silent mode without having to just specify the number of hours. The on-screen navigation buttons on Nexus tablets have also been revamped. They are not centered anymore. Back and home buttons have been moved to the left while the overview button is now on the right for easy access in both portrait and landscape modes.
Google has also included its monthly security patch with the update.
