This is the ugliest case you can buy for your Apple iPhone 6 or 6S

Apple iPhones have been panned long for mediocre battery life, and there have been many third party cases which offer relief. But now, Apple wanted to take a small slice of that pie for itself, so the Cupertino outfit today unveiled its own Smart Battery Case for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S.

The case comes in at $99 and Apple says it will extend battery-life up to 18 hours of Internet usage on LTE, 20 hours of video playback and 25 additional hours of talktime.

You can have a look at the press photos above, which show a considerable bump at the back, which make it one of the ugliest case I have seen on any phone, let alone an iPhone. Aesthetics aside, its pretty easy to slip one on just like any other Apple case and has a micro-fiber lining on the inside with a silicone exterior. According to the listing it will be available in charcoal and white options.

With this Apple Smart Battery Case, you will add that Igor like hump at the back of your beautiful iPhone 6 and give it a rather ugly chin as well. This case can be charged via a standard lightning port and both the phone as well as the case can be charger together. At present there is no word on whether you can give your iPhone 6 Plus, 6S Plus a double chin or not.
