ASUS Zenfone 12 Ultra launched Globally with 6.78-inch FHD+ 144Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, IP68 ratings
ASUS has officially launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Zenfone 12 Ultra in the Global Market, as previously promised. The device shares many specifications with the ROG Phone 9 series, which was launched last year.
The Zenfone 12 Ultra features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED HDR display with LTPO technology, offering a variable refresh rate from 1-120Hz and a 144Hz gaming mode. It boasts up to 2500 nits of peak brightness and runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, paired with up to 16GB of RAM, up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, and is based on Android 15 with Zen UI.
Equipped with AI-driven capabilities, the phone includes Meta’s on-device Llama 3 8B model, AI Call Translator 2.0 for real-time voice translation, and AI Transcript 2.0, which enables multi-speaker identification, summarization, and translation. Additionally, it can summarize articles and documents.
In terms of cameras, the Zenfone 12 Ultra sports a 50MP main camera with a Sony LYTIA 700 sensor and 6-Axis Hybrid Gimbal Stabilizer 4.0. It also features a 13MP ultrawide camera and a 32MP 3X telephoto lens with OIS. The front-facing 32MP ultrawide selfie camera comes with an RGBW sensor and a 90° field of view.
The device is powered by a dual-cell 5,500mAh battery, supporting 65W HyperCharge fast charging that achieves a full charge in just 39 minutes. It also includes 15W Qi wireless charging.

Pricing and Availability -
The ASUS Zenfone 12 Ultra is available in three colour options: Ebony Black, Sakura White, and Sage Green. In Europe, the 16GB + 512GB variant is priced at 1,100 Euros (approximately $1,140 or Rs. 99,990). Customers can avail of a 100 Euro pre-order discount until February 28th. However, ASUS has decided not to launch the phone in the U.S. this time.
