Fire-Boltt Enters Smartphone Market with New 'boltt' Brand; Affordable 4G and 5G Phones

    Fire-Boltt has officially entered the smartphone market with the introduction of its new sub-brand, boltt. The company confirmed that its upcoming Made-in-India smartphones will be available across the country through Flipkart as well as other offline and online retail channels.

    The expansion marks Fire-Boltt's transition from the wearable technology segment into the broader consumer electronics market. According to the company, its connected ecosystem now includes more than 40 million users, providing a strong foundation for its smartphone business.

    Affordable Smartphone Portfolio

    Fire-Boltt revealed that the Boltt lineup will target the budget smartphone segment with both 4G and 5G models. The portfolio will be divided into two product families—the Evo series and the Ace series—designed to offer a balance of performance, reliability, and affordability for Indian consumers.

    Made-in-India Manufacturing

    The upcoming smartphones will be manufactured in India, supporting the country's domestic electronics manufacturing initiatives. Fire-Boltt said the devices have been developed with a focus on delivering value while catering to the needs of the local market.

    Sales and Distribution

    To strengthen its nationwide reach, Fire-Boltt has partnered with Flipkart for online sales while also planning wider availability through additional retail channels. The company expects Flipkart's logistics and distribution network to help expand its presence, particularly in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

    Availability

    Fire-Boltt has not yet revealed the specifications, pricing, or launch timeline for the upcoming boltt Evo and Ace series smartphones. The company said additional details will be announced in the coming weeks and will be available on Flipkart.

    Arnav Kishore, Founder & CEO, boltt, said the launch of the new smartphone brand marks the company's next phase of growth after building one of India's largest connected wearable ecosystems. He added that boltt will leverage its consumer insights and technology expertise to deliver smartphones designed specifically for the needs of Indian consumers.

    Mukund Kedia, Senior Director, Flipkart, said the partnership aims to make quality smartphone experiences more accessible across both metro and non-metro markets. He noted that Flipkart's nationwide distribution network, combined with boltt's upcoming portfolio of affordable 4G and 5G smartphones, will help bring reliable and feature-rich devices to customers across India.
