Honor 5A and Honor 5A Plus to be unveiled on June 12
According to a teaser from Huawei on Weibo, the Honor 5A and Honor 5A Plus are going to be unveiled on June 12 in China.
Both smartphones visited TENAA last month, and we got to know some specs and out first look at both smartphones. The Plus variant is just a spec bump over the normal Honor 5A which runs on a 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 5-inch HD display, 2GB RAM with 16GB onboard expandable storage, 13MP/5MP cameras, 2200 mAh battery running the dated Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
The Honor 5A Plus variant gets a faster 1.8GHz octa-core processor, a bigger 5.5-inch 720p HD display while you still have 2GB RAM/16GB storage but the front-camera has been bumped to 8MP along with a bigger 3000 mAh battery.
At present there is no word on pricing of these smartphones, but June 10 is not that far.
