HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2″ (2025) launched Globally with Tandem OLED PaperMatte Display, 10,100mAh Battery
HUAWEI has launched its latest MatePad Pro 12.2″ (2025) edition for global markets at an event in Berlin, positioning it as the successor to last year’s model. The tablet retains its Tandem OLED PaperMatte display, offering up to 2,000 nits of brightness, along with anti-sparkle and nanoscale anti-glare technologies that deliver a paper-like viewing experience while reducing eye strain.
It comes with several certifications for eye comfort, including SGS Low Visual Fatigue 2.0 Premium Performance, TÜV Rheinland Reflection-Free, and TÜV Rheinland Full Care Display 3.0. According to HUAWEI, these features help minimize visual fatigue.
Upgraded from the previous model’s 13MP camera, the new MatePad Pro features a 50MP rear camera. The HUAWEI Glide Keyboard includes a 2-in-1 stylus that can be conveniently charged directly on the keyboard. For digital artists, tools like the GoPaint app offer a wide range of realistic brushes. These include a 3D Oil Painting Brush for layered, blended strokes, and a True-Colour Brush for fine textures and subtle color variations.
Powering the device is a 10,100mAh battery that supports 100W SuperCharge technology, delivering up to 85% charge in 40 minutes and a full charge in just 55 minutes.

The HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2-inch (2025) will be available in Green and Black, priced at 849.99 Euros (approximately Rs. 81,305). It will begin rolling out in Europe starting tomorrow, May 16.
