Lenovo India at a press event in New Delhi today launched the Yoga 900 convertible ultrabook today. The new flagship comes in at Rs. 1,22,000 packing Intel's Core i7 6th-gen processor with 16GB RAM running Windows 10 Home edition.
The Yoga series is the epitome of what convertible laptops can do. You can use it like a normal laptop, in tent mode, stand mode or as a tablet. The new hinge is rock solid is now composed of more than 800 individual components and the mechanism is stiff. The magnesium alloy build alongwith faux-leather accents do make for a very elegant looking device.
Coming back to specs, the Yoga 900 has a 13.3-inch QHD+ (3200x1800) LED multi-touch display, 512GB SSD storage, 1MP 720p HD camera. Although I do miss a dedicated graphics option at this price point, the Intel HD 520 graphics engine is just good enough for light gaming.
The Yoga 900 is definitely expensive but you get top of the line specs here with superb build quality and 4 modes of usability. It will be available for Rs. 1,22,090 (about $1800) through Croma retial stores exclusive and online through the Lenovo Do Store.
