MIVI One 5G launched in India starting at Rs. 12,999 with 6.75-inch 90Hz display, Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, 6000mAh battery

Mivi has entered the smartphone market with the launch of its first budget 5G smartphone, the MIVI One 5G in India, marking the homegrown audio company’s expansion into the handset segment.

Manufactured in India, the smartphone combines Qualcomm’s 5G platform with a large-capacity battery and a clean Android experience, targeting consumers looking for an affordable device with essential features and long-term software support.

Performance and Hardware

The MIVI One 5G is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 mobile platform based on a 4nm process. Mivi claims that the smartphone records an AnTuTu benchmark score of around 490,000, making it suitable for everyday multitasking, streaming, social media, and casual gaming.

The phone is offered in three memory configurations: 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB.

Display and Design

The smartphone features a 6.745-inch HD+ In-Cell display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The panel is covered by 2.5D glass and incorporates a waterdrop-style notch for the front camera.

Measuring 9.15mm in thickness, the handset weighs 210g. Its construction combines a 2.5D PMMA rear panel with a front cover made from polycarbonate and an injection-moulded aluminium-titanium alloy. The phone also carries an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water splashes.

Camera Setup

For photography, the MIVI One 5G comes with a dual-camera setup on the rear. It includes a 50MP primary camera with Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF), paired with a secondary auxiliary sensor.

An 8MP front camera is provided for selfies and video calls.

Audio and Calling Features

Building on its experience in the audio segment, Mivi has introduced its proprietary Mivi ClearTalk technology with the One 5G. The feature is powered by the company’s Mivi Neural Voice Engine and uses real-time noise suppression to reduce surrounding sounds such as wind, traffic, and conversations in busy environments during calls.

Battery and Charging

The device packs a 6,000mAh battery and supports 18W Power Delivery (PD 2.0) fast charging.

Software and Updates

The MIVI One 5G ships with Pure Android 16 and offers a stock Android interface without pre-installed bloatware. Mivi has confirmed software support up to Android 18.

The MIVI One 5G will be available exclusively through Flipkart in India. Sales are scheduled to begin at midnight on October 8, 2026, coinciding with the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale.

The smartphone will be offered in five colour options: Blue, Pink, Green, Burgundy, and Navy Blue.

Service and Long-Term Roadmap

Mivi is offering the smartphone with a one-year standard warranty and a seven-day replacement guarantee under its “Replaced, not repaired” policy.

Support is available through the Mivi Care+ app, while the company’s after-sales network includes more than 500 physical service centers across India. Mivi is also providing free doorstep pickup and drop service across over 19,000 PIN codes, with an estimated turnaround time of 7 to 10 days.

The company said the MIVI One 5G represents the first step in a broader initiative to establish end-to-end design, engineering, and manufacturing capabilities in India. Mivi aims to develop an indigenously engineered smartphone within the next 12 months.
