Motorola is gearing up to launch its next-generation Razr Ultra, the company’s flagship flip phone. A device named ‘Motorola Razr Ultra 2025’ recently appeared on Geekbench, revealing key specifications. This model appears to be the successor to the Razr 50 Ultra, which was introduced last year.

The Geekbench listing confirms a shift in Motorola’s naming convention for its premium flip phone lineup. According to the listing, the Razr Ultra 2025 is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, achieving a single-core score of 2782 and a multi-core score of 8457. The Snapdragon 8 Elite in the Razr Ultra 2025 has six cores and a base frequency of 3.53 GHz, while the remaining high-performance cores run at 4.32 GHz.

Interestingly, the Geekbench scores for this flagship chipset are lower than its typical benchmarks, possibly due to the device’s thermal management system. Nevertheless, it should deliver a solid performance boost over its predecessor, particularly for everyday tasks and AI-driven features. Motorola is expected to enhance AI capabilities further this year with an upgraded Moto AI.

Beyond the processor, the Razr Ultra 2025 will come with 12GB of RAM and run the latest Android 15. Reports suggest that this smartphone could launch earlier than usual, possibly as soon as March or April.

More details on the Motorola Razr Ultra 2025 and its official release date are expected in the coming weeks.
