Vivo V50 launching in India on February 17 with 6000mAh battery, 50MP Triple Cameras
Vivo has officially announced the launch of its latest smartphone in the V series, the Vivo V50 in India on February 17th at 12 PM, after teaser. The company has revealed that the smartphone will feature an ultra-slim body and a quad-curved screen, with the design showcased in an official image.
Vivo also claims that the V50 will be the slimmest smartphone in India with a 6000mAh battery, supporting 90W fast charging. The Titanium Gray variant measures just 7.39mm in thickness, while the Rose Red and Starry Night Blue variants are 7.57mm and 7.67mm thick, respectively.
Notably, the Starry Night variant will introduce India’s first 3D-Star Technology, which transforms the phone’s back panel into a dynamic, interactive surface. The V50 will feature new ZEISS Portrait styles, including an exclusive Indian wedding portrait mode. It is equipped with a 50MP + 50MP dual rear camera setup and a 50MP front camera.
Additionally, this will be the first V series smartphone to boast both IP68 and IP69 ratings for enhanced durability. According to previous leaks, the device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC.
The V50 will be available for purchase on Vivo’s official India store, as well as Amazon.in, Flipkart, and offline retail outlets. More details are expected to be revealed in the coming days ahead of the official launch.
