Nothing Headphone (1) Pro launched Globally with Triple drivers, up to 46dB Adaptive ANC, LDAC, up to 68 playback

Nothing has launched its latest audio flagship, the Nothing Headphone (1) Pro, as the successor to last year’s Headphone (1). The company has also introduced global music artist V as its new Global Brand Ambassador. The new over-ear headphones feature a multi-driver acoustic system, expanded connectivity options, and an updated physical design.

Triple-Driver Acoustic Architecture and High-Resolution Audio

The Nothing Headphone (1) Pro uses a three-driver acoustic setup designed to handle different sections of the audio spectrum. It combines a 40mm Bass Driver covering 20Hz–10kHz for low-frequency impact, a Precision Dynamic Driver covering 5kHz–15kHz for vocals, instruments, and mid-range detail, and an xMEMS Tweeter covering 10kHz–40kHz for high-frequency transient response.

The headphones are Hi-Res Audio certified for both wired and wireless playback. Wireless listening supports LDAC at up to 24-bit/96kHz, while USB-C digital audio can reach up to 24-bit/192kHz lossless quality. The 3.5mm Aux connection supports analogue playback of up to 24-bit/96kHz.

Tuning Collaboration and Spatial Audio

Nothing has worked with London-based Metropolis Studios to tune the Headphone (1) Pro. The headphones feature a “Flat EQ” designed around a linear response, along with a spatial audio preset modeled after Studio B.

Dynamic head tracking is available through Standard, Studio B, Club, Concert Hall, and Live House profiles. Through the Nothing X app, users can also access five genre-based presets inspired by contemporary British music styles.

The Advanced EQ system provides parametric adjustment across individual drivers between 20Hz and 20kHz.

Active Noise Cancellation and Voice Processing

The Headphone (1) Pro is equipped with 10 microphones, with three feed-forward and two feedback microphones on each earcup. The system continuously adjusts for sound leakage and is claimed to deliver 5dB higher noise suppression along with a 40% wider cancellation bandwidth compared with the standard Headphone (1).

For calls, a four-microphone beamforming array works with a DNN trained using more than 30 million acoustic samples to reduce wind and surrounding background noise.

Hardware, Ergonomics, and Battery

The headphones weigh 327g and use a titanium and aluminum construction. Each earcup can tilt by up to 20°, while the headband has been widened by 2.0mm. The foam padding is 1.0mm thicker and is rated 50% softer than the previous generation.

Powering the headphones is a 1060mAh battery, providing up to 68 hours of playback without ANC and up to 30 hours with ANC using AAC. With LDAC, battery life reaches up to 53 hours without ANC and 28 hours with ANC. A five-minute fast charge provides up to four hours of playback without ANC or two hours with ANC.

The Nothing Headphone (1) Pro comes in Black and White colour options and is available via Nothing’s official online store and authorised retail partners. It is priced at USD 399 (Rs. 38,300 approx.), £349, and €349. Nothing has yet been announced any details regarding the product’s India launch.
