OnePlus Rolls Out AI-Powered ‘Plus Mind’ Feature Globally for OnePlus 13 and 13R Smartphone

OnePlus has officially started the worldwide rollout of Plus Mind, a new AI-powered personal intelligence tool, for users of its OnePlus 13 Series smartphones, the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R.

Designed to help users manage the overwhelming amount of digital content encountered daily, Plus Mind aims to ensure important information isn’t missed. Powered by OnePlus AI, the tool streamlines the way users store, organize, and retrieve fragmented content.

How Plus Mind Works -

Originally introduced with the compact flagship OnePlus 13s in June, Plus Mind was activated via a dedicated Plus Key. On the OnePlus 13 and 13R, the feature is triggered by a simple upward three-finger swipe gesture—essentially the reverse of the traditional three-finger swipe-down used for taking screenshots.

With this gesture, users can instantly send content like web pages, images, messages, or social media posts to Plus Mind. Once captured, the tool intelligently analyzes the content and proposes relevant actions—for example, detecting a date in an event poster and offering to create a calendar entry.

All saved data is organized within a new app called Mind Space, which appears in the app drawer. Information stored here is searchable using natural language queries through the AI Search bar, accessible by swiping down on the home screen. Plus Mind uses AI to generate tags, summaries, and context-based descriptions, and can even translate text into the user’s preferred language.

For instance, a user swiping up on a fashion website might receive a summarized breakdown of featured looks, which can later be revisited in Mind Space. A single tap brings the user back to the original source.

OnePlus AI Roadmap and Features -

Earlier this year, OnePlus laid out its long-term AI strategy, shaped by global conversations with users to better understand how artificial intelligence can enhance everyday smartphone use. The brand’s focus is on creating devices that deeply understand their users, supporting both productivity and personal moments.

In addition to Plus Mind, OnePlus has launched a variety of AI tools, including:

• AI VoiceScribe – Records, summarizes, and translates calls or meetings within major messaging and video apps (currently available only in India).
• AI Translation – A unified app for translating text, voice, camera input, and on-screen content.
• AI Search – Allows conversational queries to search local files, apps, notes, and settings, integrated with Plus Mind for faster content retrieval.
• AI Reframe – Suggests alternate photo compositions by analyzing subjects and scenes.
• AI Perfect Shot – Enhances group photos by fixing blinks and optimizing expressions, supporting up to 20 people.

Availability -

Plus Mind is part of the latest software update for the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R. The rollout began on July 14, 2025, and will reach all eligible devices over the coming weeks.
