Pinterest arrives on Windows Phone in beta form, but there's something missing here
Pinterest has been a no-show on Windows Phone for quite a while. While Microsoft and Nokia have managed to get the biggies on-board, Pinterest still remained uptil now. Now the collection based web-service has made an official Beta available for Windows Phone devices. But there's a catch.
At present the beta app is a shortcut to the mobile web client of Pinterest, which pretty much lets you do everything you can do through native apps. There are some native Windows Phone features thrown in as well, but the experience is not necessarily first-grade.
But Pinterest is using the app as a feedback mechanism to see if people are really interested in using it on Windows Phone, in future we might see a full native app.
