REDMI 15A 5G launched in India starting at Rs. 12,999 with 6.9-inch 120Hz display, 6300mAh battery
Xiaomi has launched its latest budget 5G smartphone, the REDMI 15A 5G in India. It features a large 6.9-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and triple TÜV Rheinland certification. It houses an 8MP front camera within a notch and is powered by the Unisoc T8300 chipset, paired with up to 6GB of RAM, along with an additional 6GB of virtual RAM expansion.
The device runs Android 16 with Xiaomi HyperOS 3.0 on top. Xiaomi promises long-term software support, offering 4 years of Android updates and 6 years of security patches. For photography, the phone includes a 32MP primary rear camera accompanied by a secondary sensor.
Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a massive 6300mAh battery with 15W fast charging, with the charger included in the box. Xiaomi claims the battery will retain up to 80% health even after 1,000 charging cycles or more than three years of usage. The device also supports 7.5W reverse wired charging.
