REDMI Watch Move launched in India for Rs.1,999 with 1.85-inch AMOLED display, Bluetooth calling, up to 14 days battery life
Xiaomi's Redmi brand has officially launched its latest budget smartwatch, the REDMI Watch Move in India, as promised. The smartwatch features a sleek 2.5D curved 1.85-inch AMOLED display with a 390 × 450 resolution, 600 nits peak brightness, Always-On Display (AOD) support, and a 74% screen-to-body ratio for an immersive viewing experience.
Designed for comfort and convenience, the watch includes antibacterial, skin-friendly straps and a quick-release mechanism for easy band changes. A functional crown allows for tap, scroll, and long-press actions, giving access to features like AI Q&A, power off, and force restart.
Users can personalize the watch with five editable layouts and choose from over 200 watch faces via the Mi Fitness app. The watch also supports Hindi, includes India-themed designs, and offers festive watch faces to celebrate special occasions. For fitness enthusiasts, the watch supports over 140 workout modes and can auto-detect seven activities including outdoor running, walking, cycling, treadmill, rowing machine, elliptical, and jump rope.
Xiaomi claims the REDMI Watch Move can deliver up to 14 days of battery life on a single charge. A quick 10-minute charge provides up to 2 days of use, while with AOD turned on, the battery lasts around five days.
Health monitoring is another highlight, with the watch offering 97% accuracy across various metrics. Features include sleep tracking, all-day heart rate monitoring, SpO₂ tracking, stress monitoring, and female health tracking, along with guided breathing exercises for stress relief.
Rated IP68, the REDMI Watch Move is resistant to dust and can handle water submersion up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. Running on HyperOS, it supports Bluetooth calling with features like quick replies, a dial pad, and call history. Additional smart features include music and camera controls, find my phone, stopwatch, alarm, and more.
