Samsung Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 launched in India with with 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display, Exynos 1580/Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC
Samsung has launched its latest samrtphone in the A series, the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 in India, after the phones were introduced earlier this week. Both models boast a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz Super AMOLED display. The A56 is equipped with the latest Exynos 1580 SoC, while the A36 runs on a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC.
Both devices feature a 50MP main camera with OIS, support 10-bit HDR recording on both front and rear cameras, and include a 5MP macro sensor. Additionally, the A56 sports a 12MP ultra-wide camera, whereas the A36 comes with an 8MP ultra-wide lens.
Running on Android 15 with One UI 7, Samsung promises up to six generations of OS upgrades and security updates for these phones. Enhanced security features like Knox Vault and advanced photography capabilities, inspired by Galaxy’s flagship innovations such as Vision Booster, further enrich the user experience.
Both models are rated IP67 for dust and water resistance and feature Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both the front and back, with the A56 also featuring a metal frame. They are powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging via Super Fast Charge 2.0 technology, although a charger is not included in the box.
