Samsung Galaxy S26 FE launched Globally with 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Exynos 2500 SoC, IP68 ratings
Samsung has officially launched its new model in the Galaxy S26 family, the Galaxy S26 FE for the Global Market, as announced. It aims to bring premium hardware and flagship-level software features to a more accessible price point.
The Galaxy S26 FE is the first smartphone in the series to come with One UI 9 pre-installed. It introduces improved camera processing, more context-aware Galaxy AI capabilities, and an extended software update commitment.
Camera and Video Improvements
The Galaxy S26 FE features a triple-camera setup on the rear, complemented by enhanced computational photography features. The camera system includes a dedicated 3x optical telephoto lens, while the front-facing camera has been upgraded to a 12MP sensor for wider group selfies. Samsung’s Nightography technology is also designed to improve detail and clarity in low-light conditions.
For video recording, the phone introduces several new features:
- My FanCam: Automatically tracks a selected person and dynamically adjusts the frame to keep them centered while recording.
- Super Steady with Horizontal Lock: Uses software-based stabilization to keep the horizon level during fast-paced activities.
Samsung has also enhanced its editing capabilities with Photo Assist, which allows users to make changes using natural-language prompts, including adjusting lighting and modifying objects. Gemini Omni integration can automatically create video compilations from content stored in the gallery.
Galaxy AI and One UI 9 Features
With One UI 9, the Galaxy S26 FE brings several AI-powered features directly into the system:
- Now Brief: Provides customizable briefing cards covering information such as weather, wellness, and schedules, with content that can be generated through natural-language prompts.
- Now Nudge: Delivers contextual recommendations across supported third-party notifications.
- Circle to Search with Google: Enables users to search for multiple items within a single image-search interaction.
Samsung will provide the Galaxy S26 FE with 7 generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.

Pricing and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE will be offered in Blueberry, Graphite, and Pistachio colour options. Pricing starts at USD 699.99 (approximately Rs. 66,840).
The smartphone will be available from September 4 in select global markets. The India launch is expected to take place soon.
