Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S27 series has reportedly surfaced in its first set of CAD-based renders, offering an early look at the design of the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27 Pro, and Galaxy S27 Ultra. The new flagship lineup is expected to succeed the current Galaxy S26 series.

    Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra

The Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra is expected to feature a prominent camera deco, reportedly inspired by the design originally planned for the canceled Galaxy S26 Edge. The phone is said to measure 163.76 x 78.25 x 7.97mm, making it nearly identical in size to the Galaxy S26 Ultra. It is also expected to retain a large 6.9-inch display.

Under the hood, the Galaxy S27 Ultra is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 for Galaxy. Its camera setup could include a new 200MP 1/3-inch ISOCELL HP6 primary sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX855 ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP 5x telephoto sensor. Samsung is reportedly planning to remove the 10MP 3x telephoto camera found on previous models.

The S Pen is also expected to remain part of the Ultra experience, with the stylus stored in a dedicated slot at the bottom-left corner of the device.

Samsung has already adopted silicon-carbon battery technology in some of its foldable smartphones, and the same technology could make its way to the Galaxy S27 Ultra. This could allow Samsung to increase the battery capacity to a rumored 5,700mAh, compared with the 5,000mAh capacity used in earlier Ultra models. The phone is also expected to offer built-in magnetic charging support.

The Galaxy S27 Pro is reportedly positioned as a more compact alternative to the S27 Ultra. It is expected to share the Ultra’s distinctive camera deco while featuring a slightly smaller 6.6-inch display. Unlike the Ultra model, it is not expected to include S Pen support.

The smartphone is said to measure 154.06 x 73.77 x 7.95mm. Depending on the market, it could be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2700 chipset or the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 for Galaxy.

The Galaxy S27 Pro is expected to feature 12GB of RAM, with storage options reportedly including 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.

Its camera configuration is said to closely resemble that of the Galaxy S27 Ultra. The phone could pack a 5,200mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for wired fast charging and magnetic wireless charging.

The standard Galaxy S27 is expected to follow a different design approach from the Pro and Ultra models. According to the renders, it could retain a conventional camera deco similar to the one used on the Galaxy S26.

The smartphone is said to measure 149.75 x 71.88 x 7.25mm, keeping it close to the dimensions of its predecessor. Unlike the Pro and Ultra models, the Galaxy S27 is reportedly expected to use the Exynos 2700 chipset globally.

The device could come with 12GB of RAM and offer 256GB and 512GB storage configurations. Another notable change could be the primary camera, with Samsung reportedly switching to a Sony sensor instead of its own ISOCELL solution.

The Galaxy S27 is also rumored to feature a 4,900mAh silicon-carbon battery, potentially offering a higher capacity without significantly increasing the phone’s dimensions.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Series: Expected Launch

The Samsung Galaxy S27 series is expected to be unveiled in early 2027. As development progresses, additional details about the specifications, camera systems, battery capacities, pricing, and availability are likely to emerge in the coming weeks and months.
