Samsung One UI 8 Beta Rolling Out Next Week for Galaxy S24, Z Fold6, and Z Flip6; Stable Rollout Begins in September
Samsung began rolling out the One UI 8 beta, based on Android 16, in May, starting with the Galaxy S25 series. The Galaxy Z Flip7 and Z Fold7 are the first devices to ship with One UI 8 pre-installed. Now, the company has officially confirmed that the beta rollout will expand to more devices throughout August and September.
One UI 8 Beta Expands to More Devices -
Starting next week, the One UI 8 beta will be available for the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Galaxy Z Flip6 in select regions, including Korea, the U.S., the U.K., and India.
In September 2025, the update will extend to the Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, Galaxy A36 5G, A55 5G, A35 5G, and A54.
One UI 8 introduces enhanced data privacy options, enabling users to choose whether to process data on-device. Many Galaxy AI features will rely on a mix of on-device and cloud-based processing. In addition to AI improvements, the update brings new features designed to improve everyday usability.
Stable One UI 8 Update Coming in September -
Samsung has confirmed that the stable version of One UI 8 will begin rolling out in September, starting with the Galaxy S25 series. The company also announced that One UI 8 Watch will be made available on more Galaxy Watch models beyond the Watch8 series later this year.
