TECNO POVA Slim 5G launching in India on September 4 as the World’s Slimmest 5G Smartphone with 3D Curved Display

TECNO has officially confirmed the launch of its next smartphone in the POVA series, the POVA Slim 5G in India on September 4. The company claims it to be the world’s slimmest 5G smartphone with a 3D curved display. This announcement follows the recent launch of the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+, which holds the title of the slimmest curved screen 4G phone at just 5.95mm thick.

Beyond its ultra-thin profile, TECNO is focusing on several standout features. The device will sport a dynamic mood light design with integrated LED lights around the camera module. It will also come with Ella AI for writing assistance with support for Indian languages, alongside 'Google Circle to Search' for improved search experiences. Interestingly, it will not support network communication with other TECNO or Infinix devices.

According to earlier reports, the POVA Slim 5G will pack a 5000mAh battery, aiming to deliver all-day usage while maintaining its slim design. More details are expected to be revealed as the launch date approaches, and will be available only on Flipkart.
