Xiaomi 15 Pro launched with 6.73-inch 2K 120Hz LTPO OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, Triple 50MP cameras, 6100mAh battery
Xiaomi has also launched its high-end smartphone in the 15 series, the Xiaomi 15 Pro at an event in China, along with the Xiaomi 15 smartphone. This device features a 6.73-inch 2K M9 OLED LTPO display with peak brightness reaching 3200 nits, a variable refresh rate from 1-120Hz, and support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, along with 1920Hz PWM dimming. The phone is built with a one-piece aviation-grade aluminum frame and a seamless ceramic Deco with a more rounded design. Its micro-curved screen smoothly wraps around the middle frame for a refined look.
It runs on the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 1TB UFS 4.0 storage, the Xiaomi 15 Pro integrates a wing-shaped cold pump cooling system with a vapor-liquid separation design, achieving a heat dissipation area of up to 4053mm². It is based on the latest Android 15 with Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0.
The rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary camera with a large 1/1.31″ sensor and f/1.62 aperture, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP 5X telephoto lens, all featuring Leica Summilux lenses powered by Xiaomi’s AISP 2.0 computational photography platform. The phone now includes an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for secure access.
Equipped with the Xiaomi Surge T1S signal enhancement chip, the phone significantly improves connectivity. It also features Xiaomi Xingchen networkless communication, supporting the industry’s first two-way calls up to 3.5km without a network. This feature is globally supported across 200+ countries and regions. It is powered by a massive 6100mAh battery with an ultra-high energy density of 850Wh/L, and supports 90W wired charging along with 50W wireless and magnetic wireless charging options.
