Xiaomi 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max Appeared on Geekbench listing with new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC
Xiaomi has recently begun teasing the design of its upcoming Xiaomi 17 Pro series, highlighting a rear display ahead of its official launch later this month. The Xiaomi 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max have now appeared on the Geekbench listing. The Xiaomi 17 Pro with model number 25098PN5AC has achieved a score of 3096 points in single-core and 9,382 in multi-core.
The Xiaomi 17 Pro Max with model number 2509FPN0BC achieved a peak score of 3812 points in single-core and 11,993 points in multi-core. While Apple’s A19 Pro surpasses the 4000 mark in single-core performance, it still falls short of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5’s multi-core results.
According to Geekbench, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset features an octa-core setup with two prime Oryon cores clocked at 4.61GHz and six secondary cores at 3.63GHz, similar to the configuration seen in the early benchmarks of the OnePlus 15. This setup delivered scores of 3096 (single-core) and 9382 (multi-core). In comparison, the leaked Dimensity 9500 benchmark on the OPPO Find X9 Pro showed higher results with 3393 (single-core) and 9974 (multi-core).
The listing also confirms 16GB of RAM and Android 16, with the phone expected to run HyperOS 3 out of the box, debuting alongside the Xiaomi 17 series.
On the camera front, the Xiaomi 17 Pro series is rumored to feature a 50MP Leica triple rear setup:
- Main camera with f/1.67 aperture
- Telephoto lens with f/3.0 aperture and 115mm focal length (equivalent to 5x optical zoom)
- Ultra-wide-angle lens with a 17mm focal length
The phone is also expected to house a 6300mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. More details about the Xiaomi 17 lineup should surface in the coming days.
