Vivo S50 Pro mini Teased as “Battle Angel” with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, 3D Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor
Vivo has begun teasing the launch of the S50 Pro mini in China, positioned as the successor to the S30 Pro mini introduced in May. Han Boxio from vivo has also confirmed several key features of the upcoming device.
Branded as the “Battle Angel,” the phone is a compact model powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, achieving an impressive 3 million points on AnTuTu — over a million points higher than previous mid-range flagship devices. It is also confirmed to come with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
The device will include a second-generation 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor that offers instant unlocking, even with wet hands. vivo says this will be the first device in its price segment to feature this sensor across the entire S50 lineup.
Earlier this month, a new vivo model (V2528A) received 3C certification, revealing support for 90W fast charging, and it is expected to be part of the S50 series. The vivo S50 lineup is anticipated to launch in China in early December, with the exact date to be announced soon.
